Mothers' Union Notes for May 2012

 

CELEBRATING 125 YEARS OF MOTHERS’ UNION IN IRELAND

Mothers Union members throughout Ireland will be celebrating their 125th Anniversary during April/May when they will be hosting the ultimate tea party entitled MUMS in MAY.

There will be a Communion Service at 11.15 am in Christ Church Cathedral Dublin on the Thursday 3rd May to launch this project after which there will be a Tea Party.

DIOCESAN BBQ – Friday 11 May 7.00 pm
KESH: by ticket only: Adults £8 Children 12 yrs and under £5. (Branch Leaders have tickets)

COFFEE MORNING : Devenish, Boho and Inishmacsaint
Reede Hall, Monea

TUESAY 15 May

Cleenish and Mullaghdun are holding a Morning Coffee/Tea and Teddy Bears Picnic in Cleenish Hall 10.30-12 Noon

FRIDAY 18 May

FESTIVAL SERVICE, Donacavey (Fintona) at 8.00 pm
Banner Bearers to be in the parish Hall at 7.30 pm
As always seats will be reserved for Overseas Collectors please make yourself known.
The Diocesan Prayer Book will be dedicated at this Service.

SATURDAY 19 May

Colebrooke/Cooneen “A Child’s Dream” Display of dolls through the years. Colebrooke Parish Hall 10.00am-5.00 pm

THURSDAY 24 May

MU Council Cathedral Hall, Enniskillen 7.30 pm preceded by Bring and Buy Sale at 7.00 pm

SATURDAY 16 JUNE

Dromore MU “Colour Analysis and Makeup Demonstration”
A sit down lunch will be first, followed by a demonstration from Mrs Patricia Lindsay. Tickets on sale but a minimum of £5 towards the project will be acceptable.
