LYNN WINSLOW, Action and Outreach Co-Ordinator, Clogher Diocese.

Dear Members,

I received a message from the Medical and Nursing Staff, Emergency Department, Erne Hospital, which I would like to share with you.

“Thank you on behalf of all the children who benefit from the beautiful hand knit teddies and prayer cards you provide so faithfully on our demand.

The children are so excited when they receive their gift from yourselves. May God richly bless you all.”

I recently delivered knitted items and quilts for cots. Also teddies to the Accident and Emergency Department. These are photographs of the staff and children who received them on behalf of the hospital.

PARENTING COURSE COLEBROOKE/COONEEN

Colebrooke and Cooneen Branch organised, with Margaret Crawford, Diocesan Parenting Co-Ordinator a Parenting Course in Colebrooke Hall. The Facilitator was Rosita Bridle.

This course ran over six weeks and was much enjoyed by those who attended. Interesting topics were discussed and parents had the opportunity to meet together and enjoy a time of reflection and friendship, while feeling at ease to discuss the joys and challenges of parenthood.
