Churches and other charities are being encouraged to consider applying to the COVID-19 Charities Fund in Northern Ireland which has re-opened today for local charities to access emergency funding.

The Fermanagh Trust is hosting a free online information event to encouraging local charities to apply at 7.30pm on Tuesday 11th August.

The COVID-19 Charities Fund will close for applications on 21st August at 4pm.

The funding programme, which is being administered on behalf of the Department for Communities by The National Lottery Community Fund, will provide financial support to charities which have lost income due to the impact of COVID-19 and are unable to cover unavoidable costs, until 30 September 2020.

At the online meeting on 11th August, representatives from the National Lottery Community Fund will be availabe to answer all questions and guide people through the application process.
