'Go for God' Holiday Bible Club
An excellent week was held from the 6th - 10th August with the holiday bible club, Go for God' in Colaghty Parish, Lack. Each night was filled with crafts, games, fun and a scriptural message. An average of 60 children attended each night from pre-school upwards.
The theme was to be part of Jesus' team, to be a part of the great adventure, in knowing that through His healing power, we an all have the faith that enables us to step out of the boat and face whatever life has to offer. When we trust and follow Jesus and allow the word of God to take root in our hearts we will be among those who bear fruit worthy of His kingdom.
We would express sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who helped in any way with the preparation of crafts, games, music, talks, memory verse and refreshments, and to our sponsors for their generosity. Also thanks to the inspiring talks by our speakers on team work, Mr Derek Humes, Dr Sandra Elliot, Mrs Patricia Robinson and Mr Derek & Yvonne Bowls who also brought their Olympic torches.
