Coolbuck Church which is part of Lisbellaw Parish held a successful open weekend when visitors got an insight to this little mountain church which has Sunday afternoon services at 3pm.

Many of the visitors had links to the church through their families from many years previous.

The church has served the local community around Topped Mountain for over 150 years and is regarded as the smallest church in the Church of Ireland in regular use.

Earlier this year an extensive interior overhaul was carried out including plastering and repainting, mostly by volunteers known as the 'Friends of Coolbuck' who keep the building in pristine condition for worship each week.
