Colin Brownsmith Commissioned as Diocesan Reader
On Sunday 31st July Colin Brownsmith was commissioned as a Diocesan Reader during a Holy Communion service at 10.30am in Inishmacsaint Parish Church, Derrygonnelly. The Celebrant and Preacher was the Right Revd John McDowell, Bishop of Clogher.
Readings were from Hosea chapter 11 verses 1-11, Colossians chapter 3 verses 1-11 and Luke chapter 12 verses 13-21. Hymns sang were 'Lift high the cross, the love of Christ proclaim', 'In Christ there is no east or west', 'Take my life and let it be', 'God is here! As we his people' and 'I am the bread of life.'
