New CAP Centre opens in Fermanagh

The award winning national charity, Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is partnering with Enniskillen Presbyterian Church together with St Mary's Church Ardess and Holy Trinity Church Dromore to provide this new service.

CAP offers people a uniquely in-depth, caring service to people with spiralling personal debt regardless of their age, gender, faith or background. Every client is visited in their own home, the charity does all the negotiating with creditors and local volunteers offer support to each person face-to-face until the day they are debt free.

The opening of the CAP West Northern Ireland Centre coincides with the opening of two other new centres in Maghera and Newry which, together with the existing centres, will mean that every person in Northern Ireland is now within reach of a local CAP centre. This is unique in the UK.

If you know of someone who is struggling with debt they should be advised to contact CAP direct on 0800 328 0006. CAP will then arrange for a home visit from the local Debt Centre manager. The service is completely free and has received independent endorsement from Martin Lewis of the Money Saving Expert website.

Archbishop Justin Welby is the patron of CAP and to find out why he chose to take on this role and for further information please visit the website at www.capuk.org/about-us/whos-who
