Bishop of Clogher to Visit Hong Kong and Australia

 

The Bishop of Clogher, the Rt Revd John McDowell has been invited by the Most Revd Paul Kwong Archbishop of Hong Kong to visit the Anglican Province of Hong Kong. Archbishop Paul visited Ireland in 2013. When he visited Belfast the Bishop of Clogher hosted a lunch in his honour with the Secretary of State.

During his stay Bishop John will lecture at Ming Hua Theological College which is the seminary for training Anglican clergy and will also address the clergy of the Province at one of their regular meetings. He will also visit and speak at schools and other social projects in the diocese.

Bishop John is travelling from Hong Kong to Adelaide in South Australia where he has been invited to preach in the Cathedral on Remembrance Sunday.
