Appointment of Vicar
Revd Dr. Edwin Aiken.
Following a Board of Nomination, the Revd Dr Edwin Aiken, Curate of St Macartin’s Cathedral, Parish of Enniskillen, has been appointed by the Bishop of Clogher to serve as Vicar in St Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen, serving under the direction and general supervision of the Dean, The Very Revd Kenneth Hall.
The service of institution will take place in St Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen on Sunday, 19th April at 11.00am.
Revd Aiken, who has been Curate in St. Macartin’s Cathedral since February 2024, has a PhD in geography from Queen’s University, Belfast as well as postgraduate certificate in Theology, Mission and Ministry and a Master of Theology from Trinity College, Dublin, achieving many academic awards.
He is a former leader of Boys’ Brigade and youth Club and has worked in many spheres of the church.
Revd Aiken and his wife Alex have a son, Orion.
