An amazing display of almost 60 Christmas trees have been lighting up St Mark’s Church, Newtownsaville this weekend.

Their Christmas Tree Festival began on Friday evening and continued until tonight (Sunday) ending with a Carol Service.

The organisers have had great support from church groups as well as community organisations and businesses from over a wide area. All the trees have a chosen Carol asociated with them.

During the three days of the Festival visitors were escorted by stewards around the exhibits, with the use of a minibus to take them from the car park to the church while others walked up the church avenue which was strewn with lights.

There were competitions for children and all those entering were given mulled wine or juice. Light refreshments were also available.

Two of the chosen charities included Air Ambulance NI and the Children's Heartbeat Trust.
