Clergy involved in charity sit-outs before Christmas

 

A number of clergy from Clogher Diocese will be raising money for charities next week as they hold Black Santa sit-outs.

On Tuesday, 17 December, Revd William Jeffrey, Rector of Lisbellaw with Coolbuck, will be staging his sit out for 12 hours from 6.30am to 6.30pm at Lisbellaw Parish Church to raise funds for Women’s Aid in Fermanagh and the parish church.

Then on Wednesday, 18 December, Revd Lorraine Capper, Rector of Magheracross Parish Church, Ballinamallard will be joined by Revd John Beacom of Ballinamallard Methodist Church for their joint sit-out from 8am to 8pm. The charities to benefit include; Alzheimer’s Society Northern Ireland and Children’s Heartbeat Trust.

On Thursday, 19 December, the Dean of Clogher, the Very Revd Kenneth Hall will be staging his sit-out for charity outside St. Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen from 9am to 9pm for charities including Bishops’ Appeal, Air Ambulance NI and St. Macartin’s Outreach Fund.
