Institution of new Rector of Magheracross takes place this week

The Institution of Revd Lorraine Capper as Rector of Magheracross Parish, Ballinamallard by the Bishop of Clogher, the Right Revd Dr. Ian Ellis takes place on Thursday evening, 20 June at 7.30pm.

The preacher is Most Revd Dr. Michael Jackson, Archbishop of Dublin and Bishop of Glendalough, Primate of Ireland and Metropolitan.

Revd Capper, is well known to many in Clogher Diocese as she moves from the Parishes of Galloon, Sallaghy and Drummully also in Clogher Diocese.

Originally from Dollingstown, near Lurgan, she worked in teaching, with an occupational health company and as a librarian prior to her training for ministry. She was ordained 14 years ago, serving her curacy in Omagh and providing pastoral cover and as a part-time stipendiary minister in Co. Monaghan.

Her husband, Alan, is Rector of Lisnaskea Parish.
