Revd George Beattie
Revd George Beattie.
It is with sadness that we learnt in recent days of the death of Revd. George Beattie.
George served in this Diocese of Clogher for a number of years in the Ematris Group of Parishes and is fondly remembered by parishioners.
A particular highlight of his ministry was the highly successful Flower Festival in Dartrey Church in 2015.
We extend our condolences to his wife, Marjorie and the family and thank God for every remembrance we have of George and his ministry among us.
His funeral service will be held in St. Patrick’s Church of Ireland, Jordanstown Road, Newtownabbey, BT37 0NT on Monday 4th March 2024 at 12 noon, followed by a private family committal.
