Palm Sunday processions take place

 


The Palm Sunday procession to St Macartin's Cathedral Enniskillen.

Palm Sunday was marked in parishes throughout Clogher Diocese today with special services and hymns being sung.

In several parishes, a Palm Sunday procession took place to the church.

In Enniskillen, the traditional Palm Sunday procession took place from the Cathedral Hall to St. Macartin's Cathedral, led by Tom the donkey.

Dean Kenneth Hall accompanied by Revd. Colin Brownsmith and Mr Scott Elliott, Parish Reader, followed by members of the choir and congregation waved palm branches as they recited the prayer, Hosanna.

A procession also took place to Lisbellaw Parish Church, led by the Rector, Revd William Jeffrey and also included two donkeys and followed by members of the congregation waving palm crosses.
