The Fifteenth Lambeth Conference came to an end on Sunday and all those attending began departing on Monday.

The organisers stated; 'The Lambeth Conference team bid all the bishops and spouses God’s blessings. As they travel back to their dioceses around the globe, we share some words from The Archbishop of Canterbury’s closing sermon:
'Dear sisters and brothers in Christ. Who to each other and to me, have become dearer and dearer over the last ten days. As you go home…do not fear. Take heart. Take courage. Because it is the father’s good pleasure to give you his kingdom. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.'

Before the end of the conference, bishops and their spouses visited Lambeth Palace garden where the focus was on sustainable development and care for creation. The garden is arranged in sections to suggest topics for prayer.
