Photographic tour of Church of Ireland
The General Synod of the Church of Ireland’s governing body was due to meet this week, from Thursday to Saturday, but this gathering has now been postponed until the autumn due to the continuing pandemic.
In its place, however, the Church's Press Office will be giving readers a tour of the Church’s mission and ministry in photos over the next few days, highlighting stories from the 12 diocesan photo galleries.
Starting tomorrow (Wednesday), three dioceses per day will be selected and encouraging readers to have a good browse and learn more about how we, as a Church, are seeking to follow Jesus in our communities and in other areas of our island. We hope you enjoy the journey and that it’s inspiring and helpful in how you serve and worship!
Visit the news pages at www.ireland.anglican.org/news from 9.00am tomorrow (Wednesday, 12 May) to start taking the tour. Updates each day at the same time, concluding on Saturday morning.
