Templecarne Annual Concert
The border parish of Templecarne, which straddles the village of Pettigo
in County Donegal and Tullyhommon in County Fermanagh held its annual concert
on the eveing of 28th October in the local Youth Hall, kindly granted by
the Methodist Church. Archdeacon Cecil Pringle commented "it was great
to see the hall packed to capacity with people from across the community.
The Youth Hall simply couldn’t have catered for any more. We were well
entertained by a wide variety of artists, musicians, and performers and express
our appreciation to them all." The Compere for the evening was Kenny
Archer, and this was the 26th such concert and it was as well supported as
ever, if not more so. The parish is grateful for the tremendous level of
cross community support enjoyed in all the fundraising projects that are
organised. A big ‘Thank You’ to all involved in organising the
event, particularly to David and Hilda Johnston.
