Inishmacsaint Mothers’ Union to visit Chester
Inishmacsaint Mothers' Union are looking forward to going to Chester for a
long weekend from 7th - 10th May. The group of 38 are all looking forward to
the event, and will be joined by Churchill Methodist ladies and others from
throughout Clogher Diocese. Having an early start on the Friday morning the
group will set out for their sailing to Hollyhead and then on to the Beaufort
Hotel, Mold, having had the opportunity to spend a few hours at the lovely
seaside resort of Llandudno. On the Saturday they will spend the whole day
in the beautiful city of Chester, and there will also be a chance for those
ladies who seek some retail therapy to go shopping at Cheshire Oakes, which
is a famous retail outlet. On the Sunday after Worship the group plan to go
for a drive into North Wales to Snowdon and enjoy the beautiful scenery there,
and anyone adventurous enough can climb Snowdon!! On the Monday as the group
heads back home again they will have time to visit Llanfair PG before taking
the ferry back to Ireland. An exciting week-end ahead for all involved, and
when one lady was approached about the trip she said "Oh I enjoyed the
trip to York two years ago so much I couldn’t miss this one!"
