Prayer for Peace in Jerusalem
While in Israel Rev Jonathan Heyhoe from Ballybay and his wife Flo attended the launch of a week of Prayer for Peace on 6th June at St. Stephens Church in Jerusalem organised by the World Council of Churches and endorsed by the Heads of Churches in the Holy Land. General Synod had passed a motion this year encouraging parishes to support this week
of prayer entitled "Its Time for Palestine, Its Time for Peace".
