October 2024

Wednesday 16th October – Colebrooke Mothers' Union Visitors' Night with speaker Dame Arlene Foster sharing 'A Journey to the House of Lords.' The meeting begins at 7 30 pm in the Parish Hall and everyone is welcome.

Friday 18th October – An Evening with 'Colour Me Beautiful' and consultant, Georgie Reilly from Donegal on Rockcorry School at 8pm. Admission(including supper) ?10. Proceeds in aid of parish funds.

Friday 18th October – Monaghan Parish Annual Autumn Sale in the parish hall. Please all come along to support and enjoy some tea, chats and tasty treats.

Saturday 19th October – Colebrooke Parish Auction in Colebrooke Church Hall at 2.00pm. Further details to follow.

Sunday 20th October – Service of Remembrance in Mullaghfad Church at 3.00pm when parishioners will again be joined by the Fivemiletown and Lisburn Branches of the Royal British Legion.

Saturday 26th October – Harvest Auction organised by Magheracross Parish in the Archdale Hall, Ballinamallard. This is an auction with something for everyone and should not to be missed. Come along, bid, get yourself a bargain and enjoy the craic. Refreshments will be on sale. Viewing of all lots will be from 11.30am and the auction will commence at 12noon.

November 2024

Friday 1st November – Trillick Parish Curry Night at 7.00pm in Trillick Hall. Numbers have been growing in the last few years so make sure you come early and get a good seat especially if you want to sit with friends. There will be more than curry on the menu along with music, a short table quiz and lots of good fun.

Saturday 9th November – Devenish Parish Auction and Sale at 2.00pm in the Reade Hall, Monea.

Tuesday 12th - Thursday 14th November 2024 – Clogher Clergy Conference will be held in Dunfanaghy.

Friday 15th November – Parish Dance in Sallaghy Parish Church Hall.

Sunday 17th November – Friends of St. Macartan's Cathedral Clogher Service in the Cathedral at 3pm. The Very Revd Stephen Forde, Dean of St. Anne's Cathedral Belfast will be guest speaker. Everyone welcome.

Sunday 17th November – A Service of Thanksgiving and Worship will be held in Colaghty Parish Church at 7pm to acknowledge all who have served our country in times of war and acts of terrorism. There will be a special collection in aid of the work of Brooke House that provides support for our veterans.

Saturday 23rd November – Veterans Service at 7.30pm in Clabby Parish Church to give thanks for those who served their country, particularly during the troubles and to support the work of Brooke House, based at Colebrooke which provides a place of support and recreational and leisure facilities for veterans. All veterans of the security forces, their families and anyone else are most welcome.

Saturday 23rd November – Crafts, Cakes and Coffee Morning in Clabby Church Hall from 10.30am - 12.30pm. Proceeds towards Clabby Parish Sunday School. Everyone Welcome.

Thursday 28th November – Christmas Floral Demonstration in Ballinode church by Wilma from JP Flowers, Monaghan at 8pm.

December 2024

Sunday 1st December – Advent Carol Service in Mullaghfad Church at 3.00pm weather permitting. As in previous years, the collection taken at this service will be in aid of one of our local charities. Everyone is most welcome.

Friday 6th - Sunday 8th December 2024 – Christmas Tree Festival in Cooneen Parish Church celebrating their 150 year anniversary. Viewing will begin on the Friday from 10am to 9pm, on Saturday from 10am to 9pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 7pm closing with a Carol Service at 7.30pm. A Santa's Grotto will be present and refreshments served.

Friday 6th December – A Night of Carols at 8pm in Drum Church featuring Lisnaskea Silver Band and Cantari Donagh choir followed by festive supper. Everybody is welcome.

Saturday 7th December – Coffee Morning and Christmas Craft Fair in Tempo Church Hall for Tempo Accordion Band from 10am- 1pm.

Saturday 21st December – Floral Carol Service in Mullaghdun Parish Church Letterbreen with flower displays by Caroline Little based on popular Christmas Carols. The church will be open during the day to view the displays and special guests, The Silvertones will be singing at the Carol Service that evening. More details later.

May 2025

Friday 9th - Saturday 10th May 2025 – General Synod of the Church of Ireland in 2025 will take place in Lawlor's Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare with remote sessions on Tuesday 13th May and Thursday 15th May (if a second remote session is required).

Friday 30th May - Sunday 1st June 2025 – B.E.A.R.S Teddy Bear Festival organised by Magheracross Parish Church; Bible Events And Remarkable Stories. For more details contact Valerie; 07773696768
