August 2026

Friday 21st August – As part of Heritage Week, an evening of music and poetry by Le Cheile Choir, Cootehill,is organised from 7.30-9.00pm in St John the Evangelist Church, Dartrey.

Saturday 22nd August – As part of Heritage Week, local author and historian, Mr. Jonathan Smyth, will deliver a talk on 'A History of the Dawson Family' in St. John the Evangelist Church, Dartrey from 3pm-3.45 followed by a guided visit to the Dawson Family Graves on the grounds of St. John the Evangelist Church by Mr. Noel Carleton. A Dartrey Heritage photograph exhibition will be on display in the church. Afternoon Tea (scones and tray bakes) will be available in a marquee at the church following the talks.

Sunday 23rd August – As part of Heritage Week, a Walking History Tour of Rockcorry Village will be led by Mrs. Hazel Speares, commencing at the former Rockcorry N.S. where John Robert Gregg, of Gregg shorthand fame, was once a pupil. His father was a stationmaster at Bushford railway station outside Rockcorry. Afternoon tea (scones and traybakes) will be served in the former school after the walk where a Rockcorry Heritage photograph exhibition will be on display. At 7.30pm - 'A Service of Thanksgiving for our Heritage' in St. James' Church, Rockcorry will be held with special music and Bishop Ian Ellis as guest preacher. A warm welcome is extended to one and all for what promises to be a wonderful weekend of celebrations.

September 2026

Friday 4th September – Fundraiser for Belleek Parish Church with a Table Quiz with Kevin and Dot Barlow in the Wark Hall at 8pm. Light refreshments will be served and there will also be a raffle. Admission £5.

Friday 4th September – Table Quiz in the Wark Hall, Belleek at 8pm hosted by Dot and Kevin Barlow. Tea will be provided and there will be a raffle. Proceeds in aid of Belleek Parish Church.

Friday 4th September – Barbecue in Sallaghy Parish Church Hall at 7.30pm.

Friday 4th September – Table Quiz for Belleek Parish Church with Kevin and Dot Barlow in the Wark Hall, Belleek at 8pm. Light refreshments will be served and there will also be a raffle. Raffle prizes welcome. Admission £5 per person.

Friday 4th September – The Big Steak Barbecue returns again this year at 7.00pm in Kilskeery Hall. Always a huge hit within the parish and the community.

Saturday 5th September – Drummully Car Boot Sale.

Thursday 10th September – Table Quiz in St Patrick's Church Hall, Monaghan at 8pm. All welcome.

Friday 11th September – Annual Steak Barbecue in Killadeas Orange Hall at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased from members of the Select Vestry at a cost of £20 per person.

Saturday 12th September – Galloon Parish Auction in the Church Hall. All support appreciated.

Saturday 12th September – Afternoon Tea in Lisbellaw Parish Centre from 2 - 4.30pm as a Parish Fundraiser.

Saturday 12th September – Coffee Morning to mark Olivia Erskine's First Birthday to raise funds for Children's Heartbeat Trust and Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Clabby Parish Hall from 10am-12.30pm in Clabby Church Hall. Everyone Welcome.

Saturday 12th - Sunday 13th September 2026 – Heritage Weekend will feature St. Macartan's Cathedral, Clogher when visitors will be welcome over the weekend with a talk on the portrait collection on both days (12 noon on the Saturday and 2.30 pm on the Sunday).

Wednesday 16th September – CMS Ireland Evening at 7.30pm in Colebrooke Parish Hall hosted by Colebrooke Parish taking the form of an information evening on behalf of CMSI. For the past two years the Revd Andrew Quill (formally rector of Dromore) and his wife Joanne, have been working in IBBA, South Sudan with CMS Ireland. Please come along and discover what life is like in South Sudan and the ministry Andrew and Joanne are now engaged in. This event is open to everyone.

Friday 18th September – Donagh Table Quiz at 8pm in The Oakland Centre, Main Street, Glaslough.

Friday 18th September – Slavin Harvest Thanksgiving and Concert in Slavin Church at 7.30 pm with Special Country and Gospel music by the Strule River String Band. A harvest supper will be served.

Friday 18th - Saturday 19th September 2026 – Derrybrusk Harvest Weekend in Derrybrusk at 7.30pm when the speaker is Rev.Captain Richard Waller, Rector of the Kildallon Group of Parishes in Diocese of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh. On Saturday 19th September we have our annual joint sponsored Harvest Walk, leaving St Michael's Derrybrusk at 3pm and passing through Belle Isle estate (kindly granted). - £10 per person, £20 per family and everyone very welcome! Refreshments will be served.

Saturday 19th September – Aghavea Parish Tractor Run beginning at the Parish Hall, Aghavea Parish Church.

Thursday 24th September – Clogher Diocesan Synod in St. Macartin's Hall, Enniskillen starting at 6.30pm.

Friday 25th September – Table Quiz in Aghabog Parish Hall, Co. Monaghan at 7.30pm. Table of four is ?40 and under 12's free. Supper served and raffle on the night. All are welcome.

Saturday 26th September – Sallaghy Mothers' Union Harvest Coffee Morning and Cake Sale with craft tables from 10am to 12.30pm in Sallaghy Parish Church Hall.

Saturday 26th September – Annual Harvest Concert involving Lisbellaw and Tattygar Primary Schools and other local musical/artistic talent in Lisbellaw Parish Church at 8pm with proceeds towards Parish Church and both Primary Schools.

Saturday 26th September – Big Autumn Splash organised by Clogher Diocesan Youth Council at the Share Centre, Lisnaskea from 2pm to 4.30pm for Secondary School students. Sign up in your church by Tuesday, 15 September.

October 2026

Friday 9th October – Ceilidh hosted by Lisnaskea Parish in the Archdale Hall, Lisnaskea with fun for all the family with Ceilidh dancing.

Saturday 10th October – Harvest Ceilidh organised by Lisnaskea Parish in The Archdale Centre for a night of fun for all the family! More details to follow closer to the time.

Saturday 10th October – Clabby Parish Tractor Run. with registration from 10am onwards leaving Clabby Church Hall at 11am. For any other details contact Mr Jim Monteith 07751803660. Proceeds towards Church Funds.

Friday 16th October – 'Autumn Airs and Melodies' in Inishmacsaint Parish Church, a musical evening led by our church choir and featuring other local talent.

Saturday 17th October – Concert for Devenish Parish Church in the Reade Hall. More details later.

Friday 30th October – Embrace Social hosted by Magheracross Parish Plan to come and enjoy a great night out. More details later.

November 2026

Thursday 5th November – Floral Art Demonstration is planned to take place in the Parish Hall, Letterbreen. The demonstration is presented by Timothy Elliott and tickets are £10 each including supper.

Saturday 7th November – Devenish Parish Sale and Auction More details later.

Friday 13th - Sunday 15th November 2026 – Remembrance Festival in Holy Trinity Church, Lisnaskea with plans are being put in place for the church to be open for a display of military memorabilia from the First and Second World Wars to attract visitors from other churches and groups in the area. The exhibition will be open from 11.00am. -5.00pm on Friday and Saturday and 2.00pm - 6.00pm on Sunday. Teas will be served in the Trinity Hall beside the church and if anyone wishes to book please contact the parish office on 028677 23977 - Monday- Thursday 9.30am-1.00pm.

Friday 13th November – Special Concert featuring Patrick Feeney in St Patrick's Church, Monaghan. More details to follow. Tickets available.

Saturday 21st November – Clabby Parish Auction at 1pm in Clabby Church Hall with viewing from 11.30am onwards. The usual range of items for auction firewood for sale, cake stall and tea available. Proceeds towards Church Funds.

December 2026

Wednesday 16th December – Black Santa Sit-Out when Canon Lorraine Capper will be joined with Revd John Beacom from Ballinamallard Methodist Church from 8am to 8pm. This year we will be supporting two very worthwhile causes: Fermanagh First Responders who do a valiant job and Ballinamallard Football Club who had a very bad fire recently meaning a great loss of revenue to the club.

Thursday 6th - Saturday 8th May 2027 – Church of Ireland General Synod will be held in Armagh City Hotel.
