February 2026

Friday 13th February – Country Concert in Belleek Parish Church at 8pm featuring well-known country singer, Sinead Black and her dad, Alex from Letterkenny, They are returning by popular demand. Admission is £10 and tickets can be obtained from either Rachel, Doreen, Rooney's Gift Store or the Variety Store. Children (£5) pay at the door. Proceeds in aid of church funds.

Friday 13th February - Friday 20th March 2026 – Longest Yarn 2 (Britain at War) in St. Macartin's Cathedral, Enniskillen and open daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Britain at War is a powerful 80-metre installation exploring the social history of the Second World War, how ordinary people coped, endured and adapted during years of wartime hardship and change. The exhibition also features life-sized, hand-crafted "Army of Duty Calls" figures, honouring those who served both at home and on the front lines.

Sunday 15th February – Visit by Revd Frank Bernardi Rector of St, Georges, Tunis, to Garrison Parish Church at 7pm, as part of the Church of Ireland Council for Mission. Potluck supper to follow in Garrison Church Hall.

Thursday 19th February – Rossorry Ukulele Club welcomes new members in the Silver Swallow premises, Sligo Road, Enniskillen on Thursday evenings at 7.00pm for beginners and then from 7.30pm for a Jam. If you'd like to come along, we can lend you a ukulele for a go. Or indeed, just come along for a listen and the craic!

Friday 20th February – Annual Dance with Curtis Magee in Christ Church Parochial Hall, Maguiresbridge with dancing from 9pm. Admission £10 with proceeds to church funds.

March 2026

Friday 6th March – Table Top Sale from 10am-2pm in St Patrick's Hall, Monaghan with Bric-a-brac, toys, nearly new clothes etc. Proceeds in aid of church repair fund. Everyone welcome.

Saturday 7th March – Ten Pin Bowling organised by Clogher Diocesan Youth Council from 2pm-3.30pm at Johnny Rockos, Irvinestown and at Gr8 Entertainment, Castleblayney for all secondary school age young people. Bowling and food for £5 or 5 Euros. Register with your Rector by Wednesday, 25 February 2026.

Saturday 7th March – Afternoon Tea in aid of MS Society and church funds in Lisbellaw Parish Centre organised by Lisbellaw and Coolbuck parishes from 2-4.30pm. Guest speaker from MS Society Fermanagh.

Monday 9th March – Green Team Eco-Church meeting in Garrison Church Hall with Jan and John Corrie, Gill Sheehan and Jesphine Quah who are working on completing Eco-congregation Ireland (ECI) checklists in your church. Ideas include promoting the use of fairtrade products and refuse separation in all our meetings, events and gatherings. We aim to offer online training and give visitor presentations. We support the sustainable development of the Rectory garden including the planting trees and hedges on the land.

Friday 13th March – Aghavea Parish St Patrick's Day evening meal and fellowship in the Parish Hall over a lovely bowl of stew, a dessert and a cup of tea or coffee!

Friday 13th March – Launch of Clones to Clogher Pilgrim Route Project in St Tighernach's Church, Clones at 7pm as the annual St. Tighernach's Day Celebration will not be taking place this year. This new Community Connections Project will be focusing on the ancient Clones - Clogher pilgrim route via Sliabh Beagh. A number of guest speakers will be present, and everyone is warmly invited to what promises to be a fascinating evening.

Tuesday 17th March – St Patrick's Day Glaslough Community Pilgrimage Walk meeting in the grounds of St Salvator's Church, Donagh Parish at 11am for a short prayer service before heading to Glennan Presbyterian Church and St Mary's, Glennan before returning to Donagh Parochial Hall on Main Street for soup and brown bread. All Are welcome.

Friday 20th March – Clabby Parish Table Quiz at 8pm in Clabby Church Hall. Everyone welcome. All proceeds to Church funds.

Saturday 21st March – Easter Fun Day at Billis National School, Glaslough with Colin Walker, kids entertainer from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Directions via H18 RR22.

Saturday 21st March – Inishmacsaint 5K Fun Run/Walk around the Derrygonnelly area at 11am. Registration will take place from 9.30am in Derrygonnelly Methodist Church, which again has been kindly granted. The fee to take part is £10 per person, under 16s £5 and a Family £25. As usual hearty refreshments will await the runners on their completion of the course! Proceeds from the Run will go towards Inishmacsaint church funds.

Friday 27th March – Country Concert with Curtis Magee in Aghavea Parish Hall at 8pm. Admission £12 at the door providing excellent value for a superb night of fun, craic and music galore!

Saturday 28th March – Big Breakfast organised by Drum Parish Church, Co. Monaghan from 9.30am to 12.30pm in Drum Protestant Hall. Proceeds in aid of church building repair fund. Directions via H16 P29.

Saturday 28th March – Colebrooke and Cooneen MU Easter Coffee Morning in Colebrooke Parish Hall from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Donations to MU Worldwide Fund. Easter activities for children.

Saturday 28th March – Movie Night showing 'The Passion of Christ' at Drummully Parish Hall at 7.30pm. Everyone will be made very welcome. This is to be shown on the Saturday before Holy Week, so we think it will be a great way to reflect on what Easter is all about. Refreshments will be provided. No entry fee, but voluntary donations are welcome.

Saturday 28th March – Marriage Preparation Course for South West NI including including County Monaghan Area and the Omagh area will be held in Kiltermon Church, Ballagh Road, Fivemiletown fro 9.30am to 4pm. Sunday 5th April – Easter Dawn Service in the courtyard at the Cleenish Centre, Bellanaleck at 6.00am followed by breakfast in the Centre.

Sunday 5th April – Easter Day Dawn Service at Old Rossorry, Enniskillen at 6.30am organised by Rossorry Parish Church.

Saturday 11th April – Garvary Parish Church/Ravara Pipe Band presents Ravara Pipe Band in Concert supported by the Morrison Family Singers at 8pm in Corick House Hotel, Clogher. Tickets £20 to be booked online.

Saturday 11th April – Evening of Praise with the Kings' Chorale Choir Belfast in Cleenish Parish Church, Bellanaleck at 7.30pm. The King's Chorale is a mixed-voice choir of over 40 singers founded in 1987 to perform sacred music to the glory of God. The Chorale's repertoire is a blend of traditional anthems, music by classical masters and arrangements in the gospel style providing an uplifting and inspirational programme of praise. The Revd Mark Spratt is the conductor of this popular choir. Following the Evening of Praise, everyone is invited to Cleenish Parish Hall for refreshments of desserts and tea or coffee.

Thursday 7th - Saturday 9th May 2026 – General Synod of the Church of Ireland 2026 will meet in the Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle, Co. Down.

Saturday 16th May – Walk and Talk' 6k Walk at 10.30 am starting at 10.30am from the Wark Hall, Belleek and finishing there too. Refreshments afterwards in the Wark Hall. All Funds are in aid of the Rectory Funds. Adults £10; Children under 11 go free. Everyone welcome to join us.

Friday 29th May – Launch of book on George Vaughan in Tubrid Hall at 7.30pm by author, Olwen Gormley. Drumkeeran Parish celebrated 250 years on the site two years ago, a legacy from George Vaughan.
