Clogher Cathedral Group of Parishes
(Clogher Cathedral, Errigal Portclare, Augher and Newtownsaville)
County Tyrone

This group consists of four parishes with approximately 565 parishioners, which comprises four select vestries and four church buildings. St Macartan’s is the historic cathedral of Clogher Diocese. The four churches are spread across a radius of no more than 10 miles in area, and are convenient to the main arterial routes for Belfast and Dublin. The group provides a firm foundation for an enthusiastic and developing ministry in a rural context. The rectory, which has recently undergone extensive renovation, is situated in the village of Clogher.

 

Aghavea, County Fermanagh

This single unit parish comprises of approximately 347 parishioners and provides a firm foundation for an enthusiastic and developing ministry based around the village of Brookeborough and surrounding areas. The rectory, which is in excellent condition, is located near the village of Brookeborough on the main A4 road from Belfast to Enniskillen, and sited on mature and wellmaintained grounds. The parish is located 10 miles from Enniskillen and 25 miles from Omagh.

Clones, Killeevan, Newbliss and Currin, County Monaghan

This group comprising of four parishes with approximately 254 parishioners is located in north County Monaghan along the jurisdictional border with County Fermanagh. The group provides a firm foundation for an enthusiastic and developing ministry in a rural context. The rectory, which is in excellent condition, is situated beside Currin Parish Church on the edge of Scotshouse village. Scotshouse is approximately 10 miles from Cavan town and 20 miles from Monaghan town.
