Friday 21st February – Curtis Magee Dance in Maguirebridge Parochial Hall organised by Christ Church, Maguiresbridge. Keep free.

Saturday 22nd February – Clogher Diocesan Mothers' Union Prayer Breakfast will be held in St. John's Parish Hall, Fivemiletown at 9am. Speakers will include June Butler, All-Ireland President and Iris Suitor about their recent trip to Rwanda. The cost will be £10 per person. Please speak to your branch leader if you wish to attend.

Sunday 23rd February – Day of Prayer for Young People and Youth Ministry across the Church of Ireland.The Church of Ireland Youth Department has produced a prayer booklet, along with a similar PowerPoint slide which can be used/adapted for church notices.

Monday 24th - Friday 28th February 2020 – Garvary Bowling Club Tournament in Garvary Church Hall, organised by Hilda Lucy.

Monday 24th February – Kidney Care Talk in Clogh Hall with Jo-Anne Dobson, explaining the work of the charity and receiving donations raised at the children's Christmas service. Everyone welcome.

Friday 28th February – Gospel Concert in Aghavea Parish Hall featuring guests; Kenny Archer, the Valley Singers and James and Naomi Parks. Plenty of opportunity to join in with the singing, and a good night is guaranteed. Tickets will be available from late January, or you can pay (£10) at the door on the evening.

Saturday 29th February – Gospel Fest Goes West in the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh at 7.30pm with proceeds to Methodist Missionary Society (Ireland) to include Gospel Artistes Jenn Bostic from Nashville and local acts, Live Issue, Laura Dowey, Paul Silcock and Katie McGown. Tickets available from Strule Arts Centre or Reggie Mills.

Saturday 29th February – A Celebration of Hymns in the Great Hall, Parliament Buildings, Stormont at 7.30pm featuring Lynda Lindsay from Lisbellaw Parish and guests. The event is sponsored by Arlene Foster MLA for the charity, Marie Curie. For ticket info; Tel. 07894004621.

Thursday 5th - Saturday 7th March 2020 – St. Finbarr's Pop-Up Shop opening in Carrickmacross Shopping Centre from 10am - 5pm each day staffed by parish volunteers. The shop is seeking new and nearly new shoes, clothes, toys, unwanted gifts, small items of furniture and so on to sell as we seek to raise much needed funds. The Pop-Up Shop will serve as both a fundraiser and also a service to those in our community who find it difficult to find the money needed to clothe a family or provide a gift for a birthday or special occasion.

Friday 6th March – World Day of Prayer at 8pm in Castleblayney Church Hall. Special speaker is Caroline Merrin from Carrickmacross.

Friday 6th March – World Day of Prayer in St. Mary's Church, Glennan at 8pm with guest speaker, Revd. Lorraine Capper who will give an address on this year's theme: "Rise -Take Your Mat and Walk."

Friday 6th March – World Day of Prayer in Monaghan Methodist Church which has been prepared by the Christian Women of Zimbabwe.

Friday 6th March – World Prayer Day in Lisbellaw Parish Church at 8pm. The theme is Zimbabwe and Roseliene and Geoff Donaldson are coming to speak.

Friday 6th March – World Day of Prayer in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Lisnaskea at 8pm with the theme, 'Rise! Take your mat and walk' and a form of service prepared by the Christian women of Zimbabwe.

Friday 6th March – World Day of Prayer Service at 8pm in Ardess Parish Church, Kesh. Service will take the form of prayers for Zimbabwe. Everyone welcome.

Saturday 7th March – Derrybrusk Parish Coffee Morning and Cake Sale from 10.00am - 12.00 Noon in Belle Isle Castle on behalf of the Select Vestry of the parish. Funds raised for Derrybrusk Parish Mother's Union for the provision of a branch banner.

Saturday 7th March – Garvary Parish Church Auction in the Parish Hall at 1.30pm. Items to be auctioned include firewood, home bakes and general household items.

Sunday 8th March – International Women's Day Afternoon Tea in the Killyhevlin Hotel with Inspirational and Motivational Speaker, Lady Christine Eames OBE. Tickets £20 with proceeds to Enniskilen Rotary Club charities.

Sunday 8th March – Favourite Hymns in St Mark's Parish Church, Aghadrumsee at 3pm with Revd Olivia Downey.

Monday 9th March – Colaghty Women's Fellowship Annual Visitors' Night and Bring and Buy Sale at 8.00pm. The guest speaker will be Hannah Arnold from CARE; Christian Action Research and Education. Come along and bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship.

Monday 9th - Thursday 12th March 2020 – Magheracross Charity Pairs Bowling Tournament in the Archdale Memorial Hall. Entries (£8 per pair including supper) with entries to Ann Brian (66388173) or Lily Robinson (66388560).

Thursday 12th March – Fashion Show in Garvary Parish Church Hall at 7.30pm with fashions by KLASS. Tickets £10 including refreshments.

Thursday 12th March – Mullaghy Flute Band Concert in Gransha Hall. More details later.

Friday 13th March – Marching Bands Concert in Tempo Parish Church at 8pm featuring Church Hill Silver Band, Tempo Accordion Band, Derryclavin Pipe Band and Monaghan Fife and Drum Band. Admission £10 with proceeds to Tempo Church Funds.

Tuesday 17th March – St Patrick's Day parade in Carrickmacross will have a float entered by St. Finbarr's Church for the first time in around 20 years as part of their 20/20 vision of community involvement. The theme of our float is "All Things Bright and Beautiful" displaying the goodness of God's creation and the great variety of life we have here in our local community.

Tuesday 17th March – Irish Stew Night organised by Cleenish Mothers' Union in Cleenish Parish Hall, Bellanaleck.

Thursday 19th March – Safeguarding Trust training at 7.30pm in Ardess Parish Centre.

Friday 20th March – Gospel Concert in St. Mark's Church, Newtownsaville, with guest artists, Revd Jean Mackerel and friends. Supper provided and everyone welcome.

Saturday 21st March – Ulster Society of Organists and Choirmasters visit to Galloon Parish Church at 2pm to hear the acclaimed Lewis Pipe Organ installed in 2018. The event is open to anyone who may have an interest in learning about the origins of the Lewis organ and to hear the instrument's resources ably demonstrated by Matthew Hynes, Royal Burgh of Ayr Organist.

Sunday 22nd March – The Friends of St Macartan's Cathedral, Clogher 64th Friends' Service and Annual Reunion will take place in the Cathedral at 3.00pm. The preacher will be Revd Canon Dr Maurice Elliott, Director of The Church of Ireland Theological Institute. Tea will be served after the service in the Cathedral Hall and will be followed by the Friends' Annual General Meeting, which is open to all members of the Friends to attend.

Monday 23rd March – Lenten Reflection in Cleenish Parish Hall, Bellanaleck at 8pm. An evening of quiet reflection for Lent with Mr. Roy Robinson MBE, well known in Fermanagh as a policing officer. His life experiences have led him on a spiritual journey - one which he shares. Refreshments served.

Tuesday 24th March – St. Macartan's Day Lecture on St. Macartan's Day by Bishop John McDowell on the Disestablishment of the Church of Ireland in Clogher Cathedral at 8pm. Everyone welcome. This event is part of the celebration of St.Macartan. Everyone welcome.

Thursday 26th March – Donagh Community Choir performance in The Garage Theatre, Monaghan at 7.30pm to raise funds for Monaghan Collegiate School, under the leadership of Mrs. Ethne McCord. Tickets available from Monaghan Collegiate Parents' Association.

Saturday 28th March – Coffee Morning and Cake Sale to honour the memory of Neville Gamble, beloved son of Mullaghdun parishioners, Jim and Doreen from 9.30am to 12.30pm in Mullaghdun Parish Hall, Letterbreen. Proceeds of this event will be donated to "Friends of the Cancer Centre" at Belfast City Hospital.

Monday 30th March – Farm, Fellowship and Faith meeting at 8.00pm in Colaghty Parish Hall, when the speaker will be Mr Martin Peters from NI Ambulance Service.

Tuesday 31st March – Prayer Spaces in Schools taking place in St. Macartin's Cathedral Hall, Enniskillen at 7.30pm with refreshments available from 7pm. Hannah O'Neill from Prayer Spaces in Schools N.I. will be answering the questions: -What is a Prayer Space? -How do you run a Prayer Space? She will bring along some prayer resources and tell stories from her own experience of setting up and facilitating school prayer spaces. The evening is suitable for teachers, Sunday school and youth leaders, and anyone with an interest in prayer and Christian youth and children's work.

Thursday 2nd April – Gospel Concert in St. Ronan's Church, Colebrooke with Revd Jean Mackeral.

Friday 3rd April – Sallaghy Parish Dance in Sallaghy Hall with music provided by Dusty Diamond with dancing from 10.00pm - 1.00am. cost £5 includes supper with proceeds in aid of Church Funds. Everyone will be made most welcome.

Friday 3rd April – Hooley in the Hall in Derryvullen North Church Hall, Irvinestown to raise funds for Air Ambulance.

Wednesday 15th April – Clogher Diocesan Magazine deadline for the May edition.

Friday 17th April – Dessert Evening in Mullaghdun Parish Hall, Letterbreen from 7pm to 9pm organised by student Sarah-Louise Collum who is going on a mission trip to Central Asia in August 2020 with a team of young people to share God's Love with Christian and non-Christian students at a summer camp. An evening full of fun, fellowship and mouth-watering desserts. Sarah-Louise extends a warm welcome to everyone to attend.

Saturday 18th April – Galloon Parish Auction at 12 Noon in the Church Hall, High Street, Newtownbutler with part contents of two houses and at least 500 lots.

Thursday 23rd April – Donacavey Parish Barbecue at 7pm. Everyone welcome.

Wednesday 29th April – Last Date for submission of Entries for the Archdeacon Ruddell Prize and Bishop's Medal Competition organised by Clogher Diocesan Board of Religious Education. All entries to be handed in to the Diocesan Office, Hall's Lane, Enniskillen. Please contact your Sunday School teacher for further details.

May 2020

Wednesday 6th May – Country and Western Concert with Declan Nerney and his 6-piece Showband and special guest star, T R Dallas, in The Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen at 8.00pm. Tickets at £15 are available from The Killyhevlin Hotel, The Cathedral Office, Leslie's Coffee Shop and Ivan Kee (07768000167) with all proceeds for St Macartin's Cathedral Parish Funds.

Thursday 7th - Saturday 9th May 2020 – 2020 General Synod in Croke Park Meetings and Events Centre.

Friday 8th May – Mothers' Union Area Service in Killeevan Parish Church, Co. Monaghan at 8pm.

Sunday 10th May – Picnic at Rossmore Park, Monaghan following service in St. Mark's Parish, Aghadrumsee for 200th anniversary year.

Friday 15th May – Clogher Diocesan Magazine deadline for submissions for the June edition.

Sunday 17th May – Tractor Sunday on Rogation Sunday at Maguiresbridge and Derrybrusk churches when traditionally prayers are offered for God's blessings on the fruits of the earth and the labours of farmers. Farmers from both parishes invited to come to church on their tractors to be parked in the field at the rectory.

Saturday 6th - Sunday 7th June 2020 – Wedding Dress Festival during final weekend of St Mark's Parish, Aghadrumsee's 200th anniversary year featuring a display of wedding dresses and christening gowns with a closing service on Sunday at 7pm with the Revd Canon Betty Thompson.

Thursday 11th June – Mothers' Union Indoor Members Tea Party in the See House, Fivemiletown.
