May 2019

Saturday 25th May – Coffee Morning in the Archdale Hall, Lisnaskea between 10am - 12.30pm to raise funds for the Ulster Project. Joel Nelson from Clogh has been given a place with the Ulster Project going on the Peace Trip to the USA in the summer. Please come and show your support.

Saturday 25th May – Holy Trinity Church Dromore Annual Barbecue at 7.00pm. Tickets are available. The proceeds from the barbecue will be going to support the Senior citizens' Christmas Meal as well as our Scripture Union E3 School Worker for the Omagh/Castlederg Area, Sarah Stockdale. Come along and hear a short presentation of the great work that Sarah is doing as well as helping to support her work financially and have food, fun and fellowship at the same time.

Sunday 26th May – Annual Friendship Service will take place in Holy Trinity Church, Clogh near Rosslea at 3.00pm with Revd William Nixon.

Wednesday 29th May – Maguiresbridge Parish Dancing Classes begin on Wednesday 29th May at 8.30pm and last until 10.30pm in Maguiresbridge Church Hall. Cost is £30 per person for six nights tuition. Please give your names to the Churchwardens.

Thursday 30th May - Sunday 9th June 2019 – Thy Kingdom Come prayer event hosted by Enniskillen Cathedral in The Iona Room, Cathedral Hall during the period from Ascension to Pentecost when they are asking for as many as possible to turn up and pray for 10-15 minutes. The Iona Room is open every day from Monday - Friday for private pray.

Thursday 30th May – Music in May is an evening of music in aid of Lisbellaw Primary School at 7.30pm in Enniskillen Methodist Halls.

June 2019

Saturday 1st June – Vintage Tea and Cake Sale will take place in Sexton's House, Rockcorry, from 3 pm -5pm. All are welcome.

Saturday 1st June – Organ Tuition with NykkÖ-Mickaël Grégoire in Galloon Parish Church. This is open to anyone from the Diocese, all ages and all levels. NykkÖ's enthusiastic professional teaching will provide great encouragement whether you are a new organist or longstanding organist. Saturday 1st June – Family Fun Day at Clabby Church Hall. Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea will be served from 10am to 4pm. There will be a Cake stall, craft stalls, mini auction, Dog Show, Bouncy Castle and activities for the kids all day. Everyone welcome and all proceeds to Clabby Church Funds.

Sunday 2nd June – Special visit from Milo The Gospel Dog in Rockcorry School, Co. Monaghanat 11am where he will deliver the Gospel message. There will be refreshments afterwards. Everyone welcome.

Sunday 2nd June – Special Service of Music in Galloon Parish Church at 3.00pm with guest organists, hymn singing and a recital from NykkÖ-Mickaël Grégoire. The service will be conducted by Dean Ferguson. Please note that there will be no service at 12 noon on this date. This is a wonderful opportunity to come along, sing well known hymns and hear a professional recital on our new Lewis Organ.

Sunday 2nd June – BBC Radio Ulster broadcast service from Rossorry Parish Church at 10.15am. Everyone needs to be seated by 9.50am.

Tuesday 4th June – A Summer Evening of Choral Music in The Priory Church, Killadeas at 8pm with Ardess Chamber Choir and Musical Director, David Baxter, featuring the music of Bruckner, Stanford, Tallis, Vivaldi, Jenkins, Bach, Telemann and others. Guest Soloist: Chloe Hanna (Flute). Retiring collection.

Wednesday 5th June – Clogher Mothers' Union Indoor Members will meet in Maguiresbridge Parish Hall from 3.00pm to 5.00pm with a service of Holy Communion followed by afternoon tea.

Friday 7th June – Lisbellaw Primary School Summer Fete between 6.30pm-8.30pm at the school.

Saturday 8th June – Car Boot Sale at Drummully Church Hall with our usual strawberry teas. Cars and small vans are €10 and large vans €15. Gates open at 8.00am. Teas served from 9.30am. Everyone welcome. Contact Hazel Robinson for details or to book in your stall. Tel. 02867738256.

Saturday 8th - Sunday 9th June 2019 – Aghadrumsee 200th Anniversary Celebration Weekend with barbecue games from years gone by. Special service on the Sunday at 3pm with Canon E. Kille.

Sunday 9th June – Family Service and Re-dedication of Tempo Parish Hall following installation of a new kitchen, new oil boiler, new oil tank and a new ramped entrance at the front door. The hall has also been painted and a serving hatch added to the kitchen. Family Service will include Sunday School Prizegiving and the re-dedication will take place in the hall afterwards. A light lunch will be served and family and friends are invited to attend this special service and event

Sunday 9th June – Favourite Hymns Service in Aghavea on Pentecost Sunday to celebrate the birth of the church through God's gift of the Holy Spirit. Hymn nominations can be written on the slips in church or emailed to the Rector.

Sunday 9th June – Service of Dedication in Garrison Parish Church at 4pm when a new stained glass window and frame in the church porch installed by the Graham family in memory of their son, Neil will be dedicated. It was a year on 22 May when Neil Graham lost his young life in a tragic accident. The family particularly wanted a lasting memory in the church he loved so well. Everyone is welcome to attend this service. Tea will be served in the Gillaroo Centre after the service.

Sunday 9th June – Outdoor Service and Barbecue at Belle Isle organised by Maguiresbridge and Derrybrusk parishes. More details later.

Sunday 9th June – Muckno Parish Friends' Service at 3pm with Archdeacon Craig McCauley as special preacher. The organist will be Miss Charlotte Adair. Refreshments served after the service.

Thursday 13th June – Barnabas Cup 7-a-side football tournament for local churches takes place at Fisher Park 3G pitch, home of Ballinamallard United Football Club at 6.30pm. Winners receive the Barnabas Cup plus winners medals and there are medals also for the runners-up. Thursday 13th June – Women of Faith evening in Ardess Parish Centre at 7.30pm. Each year we have a large turnout for this wonderful evening which has always proved to be inspirational. This year we will be joined by speaker, Averil Neilly (author of Beyond the Cutting Edge' - A journey of Grief, Grace and Healing). Supper included.

Saturday 15th June – Derryvullen North Open Morning with coffee at 10am for visitors to see the new Parish Centre in Irvinestown.

Sunday 16th June – Carrickmacross Family Picnic will take place at the Rectory on Sunday 16th June following Arise and Shine with the Sunday School Prizegiving. The picnic is a great opportunity for families from across our Group of Parishes to come together to get to know each other and have some fun with some games. Everyone is invited to come along and bring their own picnic. If the weather is bad, it will be held in the Jackson Hall.

Sunday 16th June – Service of Installation of the Precentor, Chancellor and four new Canons of Clogher Chapter in St.Macartin's Cathedral, Enniskillen at 7.00 pm. Preacher; the Bishop of Tuam, the Right Revd Patrick Rooke.

Sunday 16th June – Dedication of Lodge Bannerette for Maguiresbridge WLOL in Christ Church, Maguiresbridge at 3pm.

Sunday 16th June – Drumsnatt Praise Service will be held at 3pm when the preacher will be Revd Jean Mackarel.

Sunday 16th June – 175th Anniversary Service in Colaghty Parish Church at 3.30pm with the Bishop of Clogher, Right Revd. John McDowell.

Sunday 23rd June – Service of Commissioning for Malawi Mission Team at 10.30am in St. Finbarr's Church when Jenny Williams, head of Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland will be present. Team of 17 will be departing on 30th June.

Thursday 27th June – Lunchtime Healing Service in the Iona Room, St. Macartin's Cathedral Hall, Enniskillen 1.00 - 1.35pm led by Miss Lucy Woods.

Friday 28th June – Mullaghdun Barbecue in the Parish Hall from 7pm onwards and we look forward to an evening of good food, good music and good company. The music will be provided by "Panache".

July 2019

Monday 15th July – Aghalurcher Holiday Bible Club each evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm beginning on Monday, 15th July. A service will be held in the church hall on Sunday 21st July at 11.00am. This year we are looking at how God made us, loves us, is always there for us and has made us for a reason, through Scripture, crafts, songs and games. The club is suitable for Primary School age and possibly early Secondary years.

Wednesday 31st July - Friday 2nd August 2019 – Colaghty Parish Holiday Bible Club running over three nights from 7pm to 8.30pm when the theme will be on the bible character, Ruth. 7 - 8.30pm. We extend a warm welcome to all children to come along and enjoy the games, crafts and biblical teaching.

Saturday 24th August – Garden Fete and Fun Day in Garrison Rectory grounds when they are encouraging everyone including farmers to take a much needed afternoon off before the end of the summer to spend some time with family and friends for fellowship with one another. Proceeds from the day will go to the Rectory Maintenance Fund.

Monday 7th - Sunday 13th October 2019 – Colaghty Parish Mission Thy Word is Truth' excluding Saturday, with speaker Revd William Anderson, formally Tullanisken and Clonoe. Monday to Friday services re at 8.00pm and Sunday evening at 7.00pm. Sunday morning service at 11.30am with Jeff Gawn. This mission will incorporate our harvest weekend services with light refreshments in the hall each night.
