October 2021

Tuesday 19th October – Clogher Diocesan Council meeting at 2.00pm in St Macartin's Cathedral Hall.

Thursday 21st October – Service of Reflection and Hope to mark the partition of Ireland and the formation of Northern Ireland in St Patrick's Church of Ireland Cathedral, Armagh.

Sunday 24th October – Climate Sunday in Carrickmacross Union, Magheracloone and Ardragh churches as part of a UK and Ireland wide initiative. The initiative is calling on all local churches across Britain and Ireland to hold a climate-focused service on any Sunday before the 26th United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP 26), which is taking place in Glasgow from 31st October to 12th November this year, and to commit to long-term action on climate change.

Tuesday 26th October – Online Webinar on 'Churches and the Afghan Crisis between 2pm-4pm highlighted by the Commission for Christian Unity and Dialogue and hosted by the Churches' Refugee Network on how Churches can respond to the Afghan crisis. November 2021

Saturday 6th November – Devenish Parish Sale and Auction in the Reade Hall, Monea at 2pm.

Saturday 6th November – Clabby Parish Family Fun Walk leaving Clabby Church Hall at 10am. Proceeds towards Church funds. Everyone welcome.

Saturday 13th November – Fivemiletown Parish 'Quiet Day' when the diocese will be joining them in St John's Church with Rev'd Canon David Ferry acting as the witness. The contemplations will be based on the Words of God from the scripture. (Canon Ferry is Precentor Hanlon's former Boys' Brigade Captain). Booking is essential as space will be limited. Starting at 9.30am with coffee and registration followed at 10am with First contemplation; 11.20am with Second contemplation with Holy Communion and at 12.30pm with Soup Lunch. No fee but donations welcome.

Saturday 13th November – Quiet Morning in St. John's Parish, Fivemiletown with Revd Canon David Ferry, Limavady, beginning at 9.30am and finishing with soup lunch(Covid permitting), open to parish, diocese and friends of the parish. David is a witness for the Fellowship Of Contemplative Prayer and will lead the prayer and quiet according to their rhythm. Book with Precentor Kyle Hanlon, or Judith in the parish office on 8952 2422.

Monday 15th November – Clogher Diocesan Magazine deadline for submissions to the December/January edition. Send to; editor@clogher.anglican.org

Thursday 25th November – Clogher Diocesan Synod in the Cathedral Hall, Enniskillen at 5.30pm if held as an in-person meeting or at 7pm for an online meeting. Further details later.

December 2021

Saturday 11th December – Clabby Parish Tractor Run from Clabby Church Hall. Registration at 9am and leaving at 10am. All tractors welcome. Proceeds towards Church funds. For further details contact Jim Monteith on 07751803660 or 028 89521167.

May 2022

Thursday 5th - Saturday 7th May 2022 – General Synod for 2022 takes place at Croke Park, Dublin.

June 2022

Thursday 2nd June – Queen's Platinum Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving in St. Macartin's Cathedral, Enniskillen at 8pm followed by a beacon lighting ceremony in the grounds of the Cathedral.
