Tuesday 21st September – Adult Confirmation on St. Matthew's Day in St. Macartin's Cathedral, Enniskillen. If you are over 16 and were never Confirmed and would like to be, can you contact your Rector or contact your Rural Dean or the Dean of Clogher, Very Revd Kenneth Hall who organises the service; dean@clogher.anglican.org

Wednesday 22nd September – Clogher Diocese Volunteer Safeguard Training in Dromore Parish Hall at 7.30pm for Kilskeery Rural Deanery.

Wednesday 22nd September – Aghavea Parish Bible Fellowship will consider our response to the Refugee Crisis in countries such as Afghanistan and in countries where Christianity is persecuted.

Tuesday 28th September – Clogher Diocese Volunteer Safeguard Training in Enniskillen Cathedral Hall at 7.30pm for Enniskillen Rural Deanery.

Wednesday 29th September – Organ Recital and Fundraiser for Enniskillen Cathedral Roof Appeal at 7.30pm featuring one of the most promising young pianists and organists in Northern Ireland, Orly Watson, Director of Music at Dromore Cathedral, and Official Accompanist at Queen's University. A graduate of Oxford University and of the Royal Academy of Music in London, Orly has performed extensively in Ireland and England and has worked for the Royal Irish Academy of Music and for Northern Ireland Opera. He will perform a programme of favourite organ works framed by congregational hymns. Suggested donation of minimum of eight pounds.

Thursday 30th September - Saturday 2nd October 2021 – The 2021 General Synod will be held by electronic communication technology from 30th September to 2nd October 2021, as approved by the Standing Committee. The hours, and the link for the electronic meeting, will be communicated to Synod members in due course. Saturday 2nd October – Maguiresbridge and Derrybrusk Parishes host Harvest Family Walk with time to be confirmed.

Wednesday 6th October – Clogher Diocese Volunteer Safeguard Training in Colebrooke Parish Hall at 7.30pm for Clogher Rural Deanery.

Saturday 9th October – Clogher Diocese Volunteer Safeguard Training to be conducted online at 9.30am with the link sent out to those registered to attend.

Sunday 10th October – Climate Sunday in Donagh Group of Parishes when the Sunday School children will present a video.

Sunday 17th October – Climate Sunday will be marked in Dromore Parish during Family Service at 11am with Revd Andrew Quill. God's care for Creation' (Luke 12:22-27).

Tuesday 19th October – Clogher Diocesan Council meeting at 2.00pm in St Macartin's Cathedral Hall.

Sunday 24th October – Climate Sunday in Carrickmacross Union, Magheracloone and Ardragh churches as part of a UK and Ireland wide initiative. The initiative is calling on all local churches across Britain and Ireland to hold a climate-focused service on any Sunday before the 26th United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP 26), which is taking place in Glasgow from 31st October to 12th November this year, and to commit to long-term action on climate change.

November 2021

Saturday 6th November – Devenish Parish Sale and Auction in the Reade Hall, Monea at 2pm.

Saturday 6th November – Clabby Parish Auction for church funds at 1.30pm at the Church Hall and grounds. It will be run in accordance with Covid guidelines. A letter with regard to the event will be circulated to parishioners.

Saturday 13th November – Fivemiletown Parish 'Quiet Day' when the diocese will be joining them in St John's Church with Rev'd Canon David Ferry acting as the witness. The contemplations will be based on the Words of God from the scripture. (Canon Ferry is Precentor Hanlon's former Boys' Brigade Captain). Booking is essential as space will be limited. Starting at 9.30am with coffee and registration followed at 10am with First contemplation; 11.20am with Second contemplation with Holy Communion and at 12.30pm with Soup Lunch. No fee but donations welcome.

Saturday 13th November – Quiet Morning in St. John's Parish, Fivemiletown with Revd Canon David Ferry, Limavady, beginning at 9.30am and finishing with soup lunch(Covid permitting), open to parish, diocese and friends of the parish. David is a witness for the Fellowship Of Contemplative Prayer and will lead the prayer and quiet according to their rhythm. Book with Precentor Kyle Hanlon, or Judith in the parish office on 8952 2422.

Thursday 25th November – Clogher Diocesan Synod in the Cathedral Hall, Enniskillen at 5.30pm if held as an in-person meeting or at 7pm for an online meeting. Further details later.

Thursday 5th - Saturday 7th May 2022 – General Synod for 2022 takes place at Croke Park, Dublin.
