A special event to mark the centenary of Clogher Valley Show took the form of an ecumenical service at the Showgrounds on Sunday afternoon.

The community gathering was a thanksgiving for everything that has taken place and accomplished by the Clogher Valley Agricultural Society during the past 100 years.

The service was conducted by Revd Olivia Downey, Rector of the Clogher Cathedral Group of Parishes, assisted by Revd Fr. Noel McGahan, Parish Priest from Clogher Roman Catholic Church.

The Dean of Clogher, the Very Revd Kenneth Hall also took part in the service.

During the event, Mr Jack Johnston gave a brief history of the Clogher Valley Show and the Chairman of the Show, Mr Nicholas Lowry, thanked all who took part.
