AMAZEcome and journey through the labyrinth

Clogher Diocesan Youth Council are holding their second rural deanery event, AMAZE on Saturday 22nd of November in Monaghan at St. Patrick's Church and Halls from 8pm - 10pm. This is a new and innovative prayer experience organised by Monaghan & Clones Rural Deanery Youth Leaders.

The evening will commence informally with activities in the church halls followed by a challenging and inspiring presentation on the way to enter a prayer labyrinth. The young people will then be given individual prayer labyrinth maps as a guide to their approaching journey in prayer.

The group will then enter St Patrick's church, adjoining the halls, via a small narrow entrance leading to the body of the church. The church will be lit with creative lighting to enhance the atmosphere and suitable background music will be played throughout. The body of the church will also be set out with a number of interactive prayer activities and challenges which the young people will navigate using their prayer maps.

Following this time spent in prayer and reflection and responding to the challenges of the labyrinth the young people will be free to make their way out of the church and into the halls for supper and an opportunity to feedback on their prayer experience together.
