March 2024

Friday 29th March – Good Friday Walk with the Cross by Revd William Jeffrey, Rector of Lisbellaw with Coolbuck, at 11.30am starting from Lisbellaw Rectory to the Parish Church followed at 12 noon by 'Three Hours.'

Sunday 31st March – Easter Day Dawn Service led by Revd Stephen McWhirter of Rossorry Parish Church at 6am at Old Rossorry, Enniskillen.

Sunday 31st March – Easter Day Dawn Holy Communion Service on the shores of Lower Lough Erne hosted by the Priory Church, Killadeas, on the loughshore behind the church at 6.30am. This service is followed with bacon baps, coffee and fellowship in Killadeas Hall.

Sunday 31st March – Easter Day Dawn Service of Holy Communion at Coolbuck Chapel of Ease at 6.30am led by Rector, Revd. William Jeffrey.

April 2024

Thursday 4th April – Annual Celebration of St. Tighernach, Patron Saint of Clones and Bishop of Clogher, in St Tigherach's church of Ireland, The Diamond, Clones, Co. Monaghan followed by a procession to St. Tighernach's Sarcophagus. Refreshments afterwards in the Cassandra Hand Folk and Famine Centre, Clones. Guest speaker - Right Revd Mgr Laurence Flynn, Prior of Lough Derg. Music by the Different Keys Choir and Graham Memorial Pipe Band. Organised by Clones Community Forum as a cross-border, cross community and interdenominational annual event.

Friday 5th April – Curtis Magee appearing in evening of Country Gospel Music in Aghavea Parish Hall at 8pm. Admission £10 with proceeds to Parish Funds. Contact Yvonne Tel. 028 895 31304 for further information.

Friday 5th April – Beetle Drive organised by Sunday School leaders in Lisnaskea Parish in The Archdale Centre at 7.30 p.m. There will also be other entertainment for the children and everyone is welcome. Admission £5 per adult and children go free.

Saturday 6th April – Galloon Parish Auction at 12 noon in The Church Hall, High Street, Newtownbutler. A wide selection of items include antique furniture, delph, clocks, other furniture, linen, bed-linen, hand tools, household items, bathroom fittings, collectables, mirrors, pictures and boxed lots ideal for car-booters or traders. This is an auction with something for everyone and should not to be missed. Refreshments will be on sale. Viewing on the morning of the auction from 11am.

Saturday 6th April – Seven Towers Male Voice Choir in concert at 8.00pm in Holy Trinity Church, Dromore. A special event not to be missed!

Sunday 14th April – 120th Anniversary Service of St. Macartan's Cathedral Clogher Mothers' Union at 3.30pm in St. Macartan's Cathedral, Clogher with special music featuring the RUC Women's Choir and Murley Silver Band. Afternoon tea in the Cathedral Hall, Clogher following the service.

Saturday 20th April – Coffee Morning organised by St. Mark's, Newtownsaville in Eskra Community Hall from 9am - 1pm. All proceeds towards parish funds.

Thursday 25th April – BCMS Crosslinks Regional Meeting at 7.30pm in Teemore Church Hall, Derrylin featuring an interview with Trevor Watson serving in Sweden and video news from Rick and Alanna Creighton serving in Nigeria. Come and hear about Crosslinks' wider ministry including short-term mission and camps. RSVP by emailing; vgibson@crosslinks.org

Friday 26th April – Table Quiz in Belle Isle hall with proceeds in aid of Derrybrusk Church! Everyone welcome!

Sunday 28th April – 50th Anniversary Service in memory of late TD and Senator Billy Fox at 3pm in Christ Church, Aughnamullen. This will be a cross community event and all are welcome.

May 2024

Saturday 4th May – Colaghty Parish Auction and Cake Sale in the Parish Hall beginning at 12.00noon. The parish gives you a warm welcome to come along and enjoy the crack and the thrill of the auction.

Sunday 5th May – Friends of Colebrooke Service at 3.00pm in Colebrooke Parish Church. All members of the congregation are encouraged to attend and welcome the Friends who have so generously supported the parish for many years. Tea and refreshments will be provided following the service.

Thursday 9th May – Annual Junior Church Football Tournament at Fisher Park, Ballnamallard. For Year 12 or below, 5-a-side football competition open to denominations in Fermanagh and open to boys and girls. Further information from; ballinamallardycministry@gmail.com

Friday 10th - Saturday 11th May 2024 – 2024 General Synod will be held in Armagh with the third day's business to be conducted remotely on the evening of Tuesday 14th May and the evening of Thursday 16th May (if required).

Sunday 19th May – Annual Mullaghfad Friends' Service at 3.30pm. Everyone is most welcome at the service, following which refreshments will be provided.

Saturday 25th May – Coffee Morning organised by Devenish Parish and Devenish and Boho Mothers' Union in the Reade Hall, Monea in memory of the late Margaret Barton and Robin Ferguson. All donations are going to Cancer Charities. Further details later.

June 2024

Saturday 1st June – Car Boot Sale at Drummully Church. Gates open from 8am.

Saturday 29th June – Ukulele Band Concert and Barbecue in Cleenish Parish Hall. More details later.

August 2024

Saturday 3rd August – Car Boot Sale at Drummully Church. Gates open from 8am.

December 2024

Friday 6th - Sunday 8th December 2024 – Christmas Tree Festival in Cooneen Parish Church celebrating their 150 year anniversary. Viewing will begin on the Friday and the weekend will conclude with a Carol Service on the Sunday. More information will follow.
